Tightenz Review

I'll be honest, I was a little confused upon seeing Tightenz for the first time- not in a bad way though, this product is really unique! Tightenz, in a nutshell, is a modestly sized, capsule shaped insert that goes into the vagina before intercourse, dissolves, and simultaneously lubricates and tightens up the vaginal canal.

Unlike creams or gels, which can be hard to apply, Tightenz is, as I mentioned, in the form of a capsule. Each capsule is individually sealed, and once inserted, your body heat will warm the capsule, causing it to melt. Because the product uses heat to melt and dissolve, you should take some care when storing it, and try to keep it at a comfortable room-temperature so that it stays solid, but isn't so cold that it's uncomfortable to apply.

My personal experience with the product was actually really nice. The capsule slid in easily, and after about 10-15 minutes of foreplay, it was completely melted and ready to go. The effects do settle in more if you wait longer, so it seems best if you aim for 30 minutes to an hour before intercourse, but it was still very noticeable to me and my partner. Probably the thing that surprised me most was that due to being tighter, my partner actually felt significantly thicker to me. It was pretty much like my first time, but without the nerves and anxiety.

I can't really say if I'm the type of person who has issues with vaginal tightness overall- I do kegels regularly, and have some decent muscle control, but I think Tightenz is really worth a try for pretty much anyone looking to change things up. Using Tightenz caused enhanced sensations similar to when you flex your kegel muscles during intercourse- but without actually having to focus on doing so. I could relax more, and enjoy the feelings without any distractions whatsoever.

If I had to pick one thing I didn't like, it'd merely be that while it was dissolving, it felt a little gritty until it all dissolved and soaked in a bit more. It also looks a little messy when you wipe up afterwards, since the ingredients of Tightenz aren't all clear or white, your vaginal fluids might be tinted a bit while the excess product makes it way out of you. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to see how oral sex would be affected by the Tightenz product- But since most oral sex focuses on the clitoral area anyhow, it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Tightenz does not contain any parabens or glycerin, but it does have some herbal ingredients. The lubricant Tightenz uses is a PEG base, and is safe to use with condoms. Pregnant women should not use Tightenz, and the capsule should never be ingested orally. You get eight capsules in each box of Tightenz- even though the box looks small, they all snugly fit in there! The small size makes the box pretty easy to tuck away from prying eyes, too.

Overall, Tightenz is definitely worth a look for adventurous couples. It really, truly does what it says it will do, which makes it worth its weight in gold for that alone. If you're someone who does have concerns about their vaginal tightness, Tightenz would definitely be a step in the right direction, and would get you nearly instant results as opposed to kegels which can take a while. I was seriously amazed at how well it worked, and I'm sure most people would be- the effects can actually linger for a day or two as well, which is great!

Lil Teaser Pixie Review

The Lil Teasers line from California Exotics are seriously some of the cutest little vibrators I have ever seen. The Pixie, of course, is no exception- it comes in a small, clear box adorned with leaves and vines, showing the toy itself through the box rather than a picture.

The toy is a soft purple color, with a darker purple ring at the bottom, and the insertable/usable part is all silicone. It's firm, but has a little bit of give to it at the tip, making it not as harsh on your bits as a harder material. The Pixie takes one N size battery, which is included, and more can be found cheaply on the net if your local stores are charging an arm and a leg.

Now, when it comes to actually using the Pixie, that's where I get a bit confused. The Pixie has a design that looks like it's made for insertion, but its really rather little at the same time- and I have vibrators that are intended for clitoral usage that're the same size or bigger than it. I suppose in the end it is best to treat the Pixie as somewhat of a dual usage toy- though insertion would not be my favorite option for it.

One of the reasons why is because the Pixie has no real control system- if you twist the cap on all the way, its on. If you twist it off a bit, its off. This irks me because it means that although, sure, its waterproof while its on... when you undo the cap to turn it off, its obviously not going to be waterproof anymore.
Beyond that, when it comes to insertion for me.. its simply a bit too small. Now, don't get me wrong, its nice- but its not filling or stretching by any means. Its about the size of a wide finger, I'd say, and it does have a nub on the end that allows it to hit your g-spot, but for me that just isn't enough in my toying sessions. I love it for a warm up, but I need something else to drive the point home most of the time.

Where this excels, in my opinion, is for clitoral stim. It only has one speed of vibration, which is actually pretty strong, and pretty quiet, a medium-high pitch- maybe a hair louder than the average cell phone's vibrate- but the smooth, matte texture of the toy is what makes it a hit for the clit. It has a bit of 'grab' against your skin, and it creates some lovely friction, and due to the firmness is definitely able to create pressure as well. The little ring makes it easy to hold onto and easy to replicate manual stimulation, with a little extra buzz, without getting lube all over your hands as well as the toy. Since this has a nub on the end and a ridge around it rubbing it across your clit will feel awesome, if you've got some lube for it, and for me that coupled with the vibes is what put me over the edge.

Speaking of lube- Please only use water based lube with this toy. Its made out of silicone, so its best to play it safe, and never ever use silicone lube with it- unless you want to permanently damage the toy. For cleaning, its best to take the battery out, tighten the cap all the way so its waterproof, and then just use soap and water, toy cleaner, or you could even wipe the silicone part with a 10% bleach solution as long as you rinsed it well afterwards.

All in all this toy is a bit of a mixed bag for me- I love it clitorally, but insertion-wise it doesn't do much for me. Its cute, its not threatening at all, and I think for someone who is looking for something smaller- be it because they're new to insertion, or they want a more portable or easy to hide toy- whatever reason, it would be perfect. The big downside for me, really, is that you can't use it anally- the base just isn't enough to prevent it from slipping in, and that makes me a bit sad because if that were possible, it'd open up a whole new realm of usefulness for the toy.

So, if you fit any of those categories, keep your eyes open for the new Lil Teasers at your favorite sex toy store- no matter what interests you about the toy, the quality of it is great and you wont regret trying it out.

Digital Egg Vibrator Review

The Digital Egg Vibrator looks simple and unassuming. Much like other egg or bullet style vibrators, it has a large control pack where the batteries are stored, and a long cord, on the end of which is a small silver bullet.

However, upon closer inspection, you'll soon realize there are a few difference from what you might be used to- namely, the Digital Egg Vibrator takes six, yes, SIX AA batteries.

As soon as I heard that, I knew I was going to be in for a wild ride. The packaging is a simple clamshell- no nude vixens in sight, but the package's text makes it something I'd think twice about leaving out. The toy itself is very light without batteries, and the control pack is very easy to hold, with comfortable and accessible buttons.

Once you load up the toy with its six AA batteries, it gains some considerable heft- but the size of the control pack gives the weight a good balance. Controlling the toy is simple- there are three buttons, an on/off button for turning the toy on, or off at a moment's notice, an up arrow button and a down arrow button.

Once you turn the toy on initially, it starts off on a surprisingly powerful pulsation setting. Pressing the arrows will cycle through these- there are a total of 5 pulse settings and 5 steady vibration settings. Each pulse setting is similar, just stepping up in intensity, but the steady vibration settings are, in my opinion, where it's at.

Each one is SO strong, and they're all at a perfect medium-high pitch. They penetrate deeply into your flesh and bring me to orgasm almost too quickly, even on the lowest steady vibration setting. Honestly, this bullet is the strongest one I own. Though I can't compare it to the Hitachi, since the two are so very different, it's amazing in its own right and the fact that the vibrations can be concentrated into one small spot pushes it right up close to the top of my list.

I LOVE this toy. The only way it could be better is if it didn't have so many pulse settings- they never really do it for me, but other than that, it is truly perfect in my mind. Sure, its loud- not Hitachi loud, but definitely small appliance loud, but the power just totally makes up for it. Besides, its nothing some big speakers and your favorite tunes couldn't drown out.

Unfortunately, it's not waterproof, but the bullet is best suited for external use anyways- never use it anally, vaginally, or insert it anywhere else since the bullet has a very prominent seam in the middle where moisture could get in. Using it anally also runs the risk of breaking the egg off of the cord inside of you, so just don't do it!
This toy is plastic, so its really easy to clean- just use a toy wipe, toy cleaner, or a very lightly damp cloth and soap- make sure the batteries are out of the toy before you ever get water close to it.

Plastic is also compatible with most lubes, silicone and water based are fine, but due to the rubber washer where the bullet meets the cord I would recommend against using oil based lube with this toy.

All in all, this toy is amazing- I really, really recommend getting it if you like bullets, you will honestly be amazed at how powerful it is. It is the strongest bullet vibrator I've ever experienced, and with as many as I have had, that's saying something.

My Absence

Though this might be too personal for a sex blog, I feel as though everyone (including the companies for whom I review) has somewhat of the right to know why it seems as though I haven't posted in ages.

I'm not comfortable revealing details.. but in the past month and a half I have lost and gained more than I thought possible. I repaired my once broken engagement and have seen my fiance nearly every week. Each time I realize just how important he is to me and how I wish those small fragments of time we spend together could be the norm for us. Longing for the day when we can live together and be together every day.Working on our relationship has been hard, but very rewarding and definitely worth it. I'm glad that I was mentally able to forgive my fiance for what he did, and I'm glad that he was able to own up to his mistake and apologize to me honestly.

In the midst of that, a close family member was taken away. Though I'm sure it seems weak to be affected by that for so long, it has honestly been difficult to come to terms with the fact that she is gone. Today was her memorial service. It was at a catholic church, something that honestly makes me a little uncomfortable, but it was a beautiful service nonetheless, and I hope it gives everyone some closure. To me, I can't help but feel like she's still here. She was only my aunt, but to all the grandkids in the family she seemed almost like a mother whenever you were around her. She would have given you the shirt off of her back if she thought it would make you happy, and if you ever made mention of wanting or needing something while you were in her house, she would always spring up to get it for you, no matter what. Though its mostly little things that I have, I still cherish the things she gave me. When I had just turned 18 and didn't yet have a proper wallet, I was using the ratty old card holder my bank gave me for my debit card. I used it for months and to say it outlived its usefulness would be an understatement. Once, my mother and I were at her house and for whatever reason (I believe it was to show off my new drivers license) I had to get the old card holder out, commenting on how it barely held anything anymore, she jumped up and gave me a wallet insisting she didn't use it- I've had that wallet and I use it to this day. She also sent me home once with an oil warmer, and she always gave everyone lots of candles, she was really into things like that. I guess its weird to say things like this to people that barely know me.

But.. these are the reasons why I've been gone. I've been close to my friends, as close as I can at least, but for the past month, I've barely been able to use sex toys at all much less write about them. I assure everyone I'm working with that I will get back 'on the ball' as soon as possible, and I apologize for any inconvenience I have caused. I suppose at the very least, things like this can assure everyone who watches or follows me that I am indeed human.

Finishing up the Heart 2 Heart set from AdultSexToys.com, we have the Leather Ankle Restraints W/ Red Hearts.

These ankle restraints come in a simple, tasteful clamshell identical, except for the text and picture at the top, to the one the wrist restraints come in. They are about 14" long total and are adjustable from about 7" to around 12.5", so they should fit most people comfortably.

These are also made in that dual-layered style, with the cuff-part being 2" thick and the adjustable band part being 1" thick. These have the same notch spacing and heart design as the wrist cuffs, but are a bit longer, so if need be you could tell them apart.

They have the same heavier type of hardware as the wrist restraints, and also have 10 rivets, though they are more spaced out, holding the cuff part and strap part together. The ankle restraints also have the same velvety, 'grabby' surface on the inside, making them difficult to slip off when properly fastened (if not impossible, without undoing them) and yet comfortable to wear at the same time.

I think these are pretty fun to wear out and about, and they retain the style of the other pieces in the set and obviously they all match very well. They're also great for actual bondage and restraint play, and very durable. As I said, it would be very difficult if not impossible to get out of these if you had them on nice and snug, but like the other pieces in the set they do not lock, so they may not be the best for hardcore bondage play.

I also store these in their little clamshell pack just for ease of keeping them from being mixed up with the wrist cuffs. Leather is easy to care for, just try and keep it from getting soaked, and if it gets dirty wipe it down with a damp cloth and gentle soap if any. If your leather piece is getting a bit dingy or stiff, you can find leather conditioners online or at shoe stores pretty easily. Leather generally is not something you should share between partners, though, since it is difficult to sterilize it properly- so be careful about exposing it to blood or any other bodily fluids.

Leather Wrist Restraints W/ Red Hearts Review

Continuing my reviews of the awesome Heart 2 Heart set, these are the Leather Wrist Restraints W/ Red Hearts, once again from AdultSexToys.com (these guys rock!).

These wrist restraints come in a tasteful, simple clamshell package similar to the one the collar and ankle restraints come in. They are 12" long in total and are adjustable from about 5.5" to nearly 10.5", with the notches spaced a half inch apart from each other. It's very adjustable and I think it could fit anyone's wrist, anyone I know at least.

These are a bit heavier feeling than the collar because they are made of two layers of leather. One layer is about 2" thick, and makes up the cuff part of the restraint, the other layer is the strap which secures and adjusts it, that is about 1" thick. The inside of the cuff part is finished so that its smooth and gentle against your skin, making it comfy to wear and also giving it a bit of 'grab'- these are not going to slide right off, at least not easily, especially if you've got them tight enough.

The hardware on this is heavier too. The D-ring and O-ring are significantly larger than the one on the collar, and they make a pleasant jingle. The adjustment strap is attached to the cuff part with 10 rivets, which also secure the D-ring.

The heart inlay is done on the adjustment strap, and is a slightly different pattern than the one on the collar- instead of having red dots and hearts, it just has hearts, and where the dots would be, the notches for adjusting the restraints are.

I personally found these to be easy to put on by myself, and very comfortable to wear. They are not too bulky to function in, and they do not make your wrists hot or sweaty that I noticed. They do jingle a bit, but I actually find that to be cute, and they are VERY secure- I could not remove them by pulling and tugging no matter how hard I tried.

These do not lock, so they might not be as good for super-rough play, but for normal bondage, restraint, domination play etc they are excellent- I even like just wearing them around the house and out and about as a sexy accent that hints at my hobbies.

As far as storage, to keep them from getting mixed up with the nearly identical ankle restraints, I do keep them in their little clamshell, but you can store them anywhere as long as it is clean, cool, and dry. Leather Collar W/ Red Hearts Review

This collar, referred to as the Leather Collar W/ Red Hearts on AdultSexToys.com, is part of the really lovely "Heart 2 Heart" line, something I have had pleasant experiences with before- so of course when I had the opportunity to review this piece (and in fact, the wrist and ankle restraints as well which you will see reviews for soon) I jumped at the chance.

The collar comes in simple and tasteful clamshell packaging, it's made of black and red leather and is about 20" long in total. The default sizing is adjustable from 11.5" to about 16", but there is extra strap available to put more sizing holes into the collar if you need to. I had to do it to get it to fit me, since I have about a 17" neck and it was just too snug.

Sizing the collar is something you should really have done professionally, your average shoe repair shop could probably do it for you but it would be a bit embarrassing so I chose to do it myself. I used a hammer, nail, and a needle used for piercing clay and making beads etc, when I did it and made three additional holes, allowing the collar to be adjusted up to 18.5" and it works just fine.

This collar is really, really high quality. I was, quite obviously, doing some harsh things to it when sizing it up and it held up just fine. I've also stretched, tugged, and pulled on it to test the hardware's strength, and it works great. All the hardware appears to be chrome, but is probably just plated with something- it hasn't chipped or worn whatsoever, and it does not say on the packaging what kind of metal it is.

The collar is made so that when you're wearing it, the buckle will be to the back of your neck and the front part with the O-ring, for attaching a leash, and the cute heart inlay design will be in front. It's very comfortable to wear because its only about an inch wide, and its not too thick or bulky. The inside of it is finished a different way than the front, so that its very soft and gentle on your skin.

Since it is summer, I find this collar to be just right for wearing out and about when it is too hot to wear my bigger collars. It's also pretty cute and stylish- I'm sure people will know what it's for, but it's not quite as hardcore looking as some collars.

This collar is easy to put on by myself, which I really like, and it has an integrated loop to hold the extra bit of strap out of the way once its on. Whether you wear it loose or snug, it looks great and is just stiff enough to keep it shape.

It doesn't have the ability to lock, so it may not be the best for super hardcore restraint, but for lighter play or just some domination play it is great. I think it may be a little too traditionally femme for some people's tastes but if forced feminization is something you're looking to experiment with, you could use that to your advantage.

As far as storage, I like to keep it stored folded gently, just in a cabinet. You could hang it up or keep it in the clamshell if you wanted, but as long as you store it in a dry, cool place there's no reason to worry. Leather is easy to care for, just try and keep it from getting soaked, and if it gets dirty wipe it down with a damp cloth and gentle soap if any. If your leather piece is getting a bit dingy or stiff, you can find leather conditioners online or at shoe stores pretty easily. Leather generally is not something you should share between partners, though, since it is difficult to sterilize it properly- so be careful about exposing it to blood or any other bodily fluids.

Slender Tulip Review

Ah, summer, flowers blooming, birds singing... At a time like this, with the world full of color and life, what better to bring into your bedroom than a little taste of the summer flora?

The 7-Function Slender Tulip is a revamp on an older product from Cal Exotics that I also own (and enjoy). The largest difference, on the surface, is that the toy is now covered in lovely Velvet-Cote material- something that honestly has to be felt to be believed. Although velvet-cote requires that you use a rubber-compatible lube, it makes up for it by making the toy feel soft (although it is firm) and giving it a bit of friction against the skin. This is great since it makes the toy much gentler on your sensitive areas, but you can also still get firm pressure when you want it.

The packaging is simple, and contains decent instructions on battery insertion, as well as reminding you not to store it with the batteries inserted, and to wash it before and after each use. Battery insertion is a little unique with this toy, it comes with a plastic sleeve inside the battery area and that's what you put the batteries in- with the + side going into the toy first. The sleeve makes the batteries fit snugly so that there's no rattling around in the toy while it's on, and it also makes it easier to remove the batteries between uses, although you may need to have fingernails to get it out since I found it a little tough to grab with just my fingers.

One of the biggest features of this toy is its surprisingly powerful functions. It has 7, just like the name declares, and here they are:
1. Lowest constant vibration (quite powerful actually)
2. Much higher constant vibration (higher in intensity and pitch, louder)
3. Highest constant vibration (higher in intensity and pitch, and fairly loud)
4. Short-short-long pulse on the highest vibration
5. Short-short-short pulse on the highest vibration
6. Low-High pulse
7. Escalation, Low to High, then repeating

Another press turns the toy off, and sadly there is no other way to turn it off except cycling through all the functions- I suppose you could undo the battery cap if you needed it off for an emergency though.

This toy is really really small for insertion- maybe it would be alright for someone completely new to insertable toys, though. It's 3/4 of an inch thick, with a bit of a bulge at the end, and about 6.5" insertable, up to the battery cap.
Personally, I used it for clitoral stimulation, since insertion-wise it did very little for me. I'm far from a size queen but I just need a little bit more, I suppose.

Clitorally the toy is great. My favorite functions are the first two speeds, since the highest is much too high pitched for me. Combined with the lovely matte surface, the toy got me off really quickly, and I think it'd be great to use with a partner as well. The kind of orgasm I have with this toy is a bit shallower than most, though, due to the higher pitch of the vibrations.
I also love the lowest speed on my other erogenous zones, as more of a teasing toy. I think it'd be nice to use with a partner, or with someone new to toying due to the soft feel and the non-threatening appearance. Its also not short on power whatsoever, though, making it a good toy for even experienced toy users who're after a new clit vibe.

This toy is also fully waterproof, a great feature especially for the summer since it allows you to have fun in the wettest environments.
You can take full advantage of that feature because this toy is compatible with silicone lube as well as water based. Silicone lube stays put even in water, so you can have a deliciously slick experience anywhere.

As far as cleaning, its really easy. The toy is smooth so nothing really sticks to it, and you can just wipe it off with soap and water, toy cleaner, or toy wipes. You can also store it very easily since it's so small, and I keep it with other plastic/velvet cote toys with no issue.

Overall, this toy is really nice, and would be great for anyone, regardless of experience level. The only way you can't use it is anally, since there's no flare to prevent it from going a little too deep, but other than that its lovely.

Heart 2 Heart Whip Review

Whips, floggers, and sensation toys in general are a very new chapter for me. Although I'd always had a passing curiosity, it wasn't until Babeland offered me a stunning opportunity- one that included the lovely Heart 2 Heart Whip, that I finally explored them properly.

The Heart 2 Heart Whip is actually a flogger, not quite a whip, due to the amount of tails it has. A whip would have one, or just a few, but the H2H has 21 tails, though this may vary. Each one is soft leather, finished to a point, and it has a lovely leather scent that is simply unbeatable.

It comes in simple packaging- an easy to open clamshell, and its tasteful enough that I don't feel bad about leaving it out. There isn't much care info on the clamshell, but for some general guidelines, you should ideally store your flogger so the tails can hang down and not get tangled- if you can't do that, just fold the tails against the handle, or lay them flat during storage. I actually have had no problems with tangling, and I store it folded up since I haven't got a hook to hang it on. It does, however, have a nice D-ring that could be used for hanging or possibly clipping onto a belt if you needed to keep it on-hand. If you need to clean your flogger, you can just use a damp cloth and you can also find leather conditioner at shoe stores and the like if your flogger seems to be getting dull or stiff.

The handle has a wooden core that is visible if you brush all the leather tails out of the way, this gives it a good, balanced weight and a very sturdy feel. The handle has inlaid red leather hearts and rivets, and the leather itself is of a good quality- not as soft as bullhide, but very soft and durable nonetheless.

One of the things that was so very surprising to me is just how different this was from what I expected it to be. When I thought of whips or floggers, I thought 'pain', and while this can cause pain, it is a very unique sensation that is stingy, tingly and arousing as opposed to the typical pain you'd experience from say, stubbing your toe. It is also different from open-hand spanking, belt spanking etc something I was very concerned about since I'd been spanked as a child and it was no fun at all.

Even when hitting as hard as I possibly could, it still was not a blindly painful experience. In fact, I was really surprised and pleased at the range of sensations you can achieve with this flogger. Light strokes across the skin feel feathery and tickly due to the soft leather tips on the tails, dragging it over the skin with more force almost feels like little fingertips caressing your body. Moving on to actual 'hitting', a hit with the tips of the tails making contact is tingly, whereas the harder you hit and the more the tails themselves make contact each hit, the 'thuddier' it gets. I would consider the sensation from being struck with the tails full-on to feel... more akin to a slap, not a heavy handed slap but just a sharp contact with the skin that stings but doesn't linger too long.

Also, with a full swing, the tails spread out a lot, making the contact more spread out over time, as opposed to one solid 'hit'. Its a really interesting sensation for sure, and nothing like what I expected.

As far as noise, there is obviously going to be noise when using this flogger. The noise is similar to a sharp 'slap' and can be quite loud depending on how hard you're hitting.

One thing that I feel like I should emphasize once again is the range of sensations. Yes, you can cause pain with this- but there is just such a wide range of ways to use it. I found it fun to grab the tails with my hand and lightly brush the tips across my skin, it really felt tickly and feathery and I was very surprised. It is so very amazing to me just how versatile this is. I think that is one of the reasons I love it so very much.

Since getting this toy, it's become one of my absolute favorite things to play with, and I regret all the time I spent thinking flogging was just 'some pain thing'.

Tantus G-Force Review

The G-Force, another offering from Tantus, might sound more like a cheesy superhero group, but in reality this is a very serious toy. When PinkCherry.com gave me the chance to review this incredibly unique toy I had to say yes.

The G-Force is 10" long altogether- a 6" smooth, glossy shaft and 4" of matte, velvety handle. It's pure silicone, which means it attracts a bit of lint, but its nothing that can't be combated with proper storage and cleaning.

It comes in a very long version of Tantus' signature packaging- a clear box with opaque printing over it, and the G-Force itself is held in place by a type of clamshell covering that makes it fit the box better.
Looking at this toy, and having read some other reviews for it, I really thought that it would be a lot floppier- I was pleasantly surprised to see that its really firm, though. If you wave it around, it flops a little, but its more than firm enough to apply adequate pressure to the g-spot, and that's what it was made for.

In use, I was really surprised at how much easier the handle made everything. It didn't get slippery or covered with lube, and provided a great way to keep control of the toy and know which way it's facing (since one side of the handle is stamped with Tantus' logo and you can feel it) without taking it out and looking. This toy was.. seriously amazing for me. It's not girthy, not by any means, maxing out at 1.5" in diameter, but the sheer firmness of it coupled with the curve make it very, very satisfying for anyone who loves g-spot pressure and thrusting, but who doesn't need much texture- like me! I seriously LOVE this toy, since it doesn't take much lube due to the average girth and smooth surface, but its so very satisfying in use.

I also think that this might work for prostate stimulation, however if you use it that way, be wary of the girth and lack of a taper, and also be careful to never go past the handle- keep a good grip on your toy, since there's no flared base on this.

Lack of a flared base also means this is one of Tantus' few toys that is not harness compatible, however the handle on this toy offers a whole new level of partner interaction, and definitely makes it easy enough for anyone to control during use.

Luckily, since this toy is silicone, you can share it as you please- clean it in between uses with soap and water, toy cleaner, toy wipes, or if you are sharing, sterilize it with a 10% bleach solution or by boiling it for 3 minutes- you can also put it in the dishwasher, top rack, no soap. Since it's smooth and not textured, its really easy to clean- the handle can be a little tougher, but the handle rarely ever gets messy since its rather out of the way.
You can also just cover this toy with a condom, but make sure that any condoms you use with this toy only have water based lube on them- and also make sure that water based lube is all you use otherwise with this toy. Unfortunately, silicone lube does not mix with silicone toys, it can damage the texture of the toy and leave it permanently sticky and tacky, or worse!

Overall, the G-Force is really awesome- and lives up to its name. It provides awesome pressure and stimulation to the g-spot, though it doesn't vibrate, silicone transmits vibrations very well so if you need vibes to get off, it can certainly assist you in getting them to the right spot.
It's an awesome toy, and a great bargain for anyone who knows they like thrusting or g-spot stimulation- or both!

Toyfluid- I've seen it in many a sample packet sent to me with Funfactory products, but oddly enough I never actually got to sit down and use it. I'd heard good things, however, and so when I got the chance to review it courtesy of Adultsextoys.com, I had to say yes.

The packaging, let me say, is amazing. I'm not sure if its AdultSexToys that does this or if the lube comes that way normally (since I've never received Toyfluid from anywhere else), but it was sealed in a baggy by itself, so that even if the bottle broke, leaked, etc during shipping it wouldn't get all over everything else. This is a godsend, cause although its rare, I have had a bottle or two break on me during shipping in my years of online purchases.

Not to say that I'd worry about the Toyfluid bottle anyways... Wow, is it sturdy. It looks and feels like brushed aluminum on the outside, and actually has been upgraded to a cool pump-cap that dispenses a large drop with each pump. It's reliable, and easy to use- and it definitely, definitely minimizes mess.

The lube itself is pleasantly medium viscosity- its just thick enough not to run off of a toy, but still very slick and thin in use. I do find myself using a few more pumps to get an overall, totally slick feeling (maybe 5 pumps for an average-sized toy) but I also find that it depends on the material a bit, as well as just how I am doing that day. It really lasted quite long, though it did seem a bit stickier when I got it on my hands and it was partially dry, it was easy to wipe off with just a towel or toy wipe, whatever you have handy.

I do not think this lube is really robust enough for anal play- I used it for inserting a plug and it was fine, but for any kind of play involving thrusting, it didn't seem to hold up as well, and I was using a lot more than I wanted to- stick to a thicker lube for that.

Since this is water based, it's pretty much compatible with every toy, which is very nice. I was able to switch between my glass, silicone, and rubber toys and not have to worry about the lube damaging them. Unfortunately, this means it wont do well in any excessively wet locations- like the shower, bath, or pool. I don't mind though, since it does what it does well enough for me.

I do have to say one thing though- it tastes horrible. I have seriously never before tasted a lube this bad. I'm not sure how to liken the taste to anything, but it was so intense and harsh- Please, never ever use this if oral sex is even a possibility afterwards.

So, on the whole, Toyfluid is a great lube for vaginal use or light anal use, medium viscosity, slick, frictionless feel, long lasting and easy to clean up but with a slight stickiness when drying. I actually quite like it, just because the bottle is so easy to keep at hand during the fray, and because the pump is very easy to use- that fact alone makes it a great, affordable option to have by your bedside. Since you only use a few drops per session, it'll also last quite long- my bottle is still just as heavy and full as when I got it, and its seen a good round of testing.

RO120mm Review

In the past, the RO80mm has been somewhat of a standard for bullets. It was strong, reliable, easy to use, and very versatile- not to mention damn sexy. This year, Babeland proudly introduced the 80mm's big brother- the RO120mm. As a huge fan of the 80mm, I had to snag it.

First of all, I was amazed by how large it is. It is REALLY a lot bigger than the 80mm, though I don't have any knowledge of artillery shells so I can't tell you if the size is 'true to life' or not.
It comes packed in a way similar to the 80mm, a very form fitting and tight package- mine came with batteries, but they were a strange brand and didn't last very long. I replaced them, and got a lot more power out of the toy. Speaking of batteries, the 120mm takes two AAA's- much easier to find than watch batteries or N-size batteries, and also much stronger.

The first thing that I noticed about this toy is you really, really have to make sure the cap is on super tight for it to work. This is somewhat good and somewhat bad- if you want it to not turn on, you can just loosen the cap, but you also have to really tighten it up to get it to turn on. Luckily, the 120mm has two little lines, one on the cap, and one on the body, that line up when you've got it tight enough. As far as the way the batteries go in, theres no markings on the toy that I can see, but there are only two ways they can go in, so just try it and see.

One cool thing about this bullet is that like the 80mm, the 120mm is waterproof- very much so, and this is another reason you really have to make sure the cap is on tight. The button to turn it on and off is covered with a soft material (rubber, I think) to make that waterproof as well, and the button and waterproofing washer are both purple on my toy.

About the controls- there is only one button. Pressing it will turn it on, and continued presses will cycle through the settings. The first setting is an intense, medium-high steady vibration, the second setting is a more intense, high steady vibration. Then you get into functions- the first function is a slow escalation, the second function is a medium speed pulse, and the last function is a very fast pulse. If you continue to press it, you will cycle through all the settings again and again- so how do you turn it off? simple- you just hold the button down for a couple seconds, and its off.

Honestly, the vibrations on this are very intense, especially considering the size. Its small enough to use in any position and not get in the way, but still a total powerhouse, and very reliable. I didn't have any trouble accidentally changing the settings while it was in-use, and I found it very easy to control what setting I was on. I usually don't like patterns as well, but the fast pulse is so strong and throbby- I loved it. This toy is great for clitoral use and other external areas- perhaps even for massage if you wanted to, since the vibrations are so strong and they go that deep. However, I didn't get much out of this as an insertable toy, and it should never be used anally since it has no flare and no way to retrieve it or hold onto it to prevent it from getting lost.
The vibrations are strong, very strong, and a medium pitch, but the sheer intensity makes up for their slight buzziness- and the vibrations really penetrate, unlike some bullet vibes. The hard plastic body makes it easy to get pressure, as well. As far as the noise- I would say it is not super quiet- louder than a cell phone's vibration alert for sure, especially new phones, but you wouldn't hear it over the noise of a tv, fan, shower, etc and you wouldn't hear it through a closed door.

Cleaning is a snap- just wipe it down with soap and water, toy cleaner, or toy wipes. You can even use alcohol if you want to make sure its as clean as possible. Plastic is also pretty compatible with lubes- you can use water or silicone based lube with this, but shy away from oil so you don't damage the rubber seals that keep water out of the toy.

As far as storage? well, I just keep it with the rest of my bullets- you can honestly keep it anywhere you want to within reason, but keep it away from some soft toys, like jelly toys, that may have potential to damage this toy. Its small enough to slip in a pocket or a purse as well, and would be great for travel- but it doesn't have a travel lock. That said, it is more powerful than every toy I have that DOES have a travel lock- and most of those were more expensive, so I'm really not sweating it.

The RO120mm is an excellent successor to the RO80mm, and both of them are excellent bullets for solo or partner use. Affordable, reliable, strong, waterproof- everyone needs a good standby in their collection, and the 120mm is certainly capable of being a standby. Glass. Glass is amazing, in every sense of the word- hard, firm, unforgiving.. but also, for those very reasons, capable of extremely intense stimulation. This design in particular has always been a popular one, and I jumped at the chance to snag it for review when Babeland offered it.

The Rose G-Spotter comes without any real packaging to speak of, nor instructions, but it does come with a small, plush black toggle-strap pouch. It's very small and petite at first glance, so I was a bit disappointed at first- I'm no size queen, but I do typically use larger toys than this.

The color is amazing. Much brighter than the picture shows, a very, very bright hot pink that catches the light excellently. The finish is smooth and perfect, the details are executed well, and it feels very durable.

This toy is, in a sense, double ended. One end is curved to stimulate the g-spot easily, and the other is composed of 'bloops' that make up a handle-like part of the toy. Since it is all glass, you can actually use both of these ends.
My first choice was the g-spot end. Now, its hard to describe how this toy works, but what it does- it does amazingly. Since the toy is glass, when you push the curve into you, the shape of the handle pushes the g-spot end up against your g-spot. It's hard, so rather than straightening out inside like many soft toys, it's perfect, firm pressure with every thrust. Each thrust, then, performs a kind of rocking back and forth motion rather than a straight thrusting motion. I found this to be AMAZING, and the toy was small enough that it didn't prevent me from squirting with the toy still inserted. The g-spot end is outstanding- and more than satisfying, for me, even despite the size.

The other end, with the bloops, is not as satisfying for me vaginally- though I did find that the cool, smooth texture was lovely for clitoral stimulation. This toy can be used for temperature play as well, so its really versatile in that sense. If you're planning to use it for temperature play, though, please be careful and only use water that is not too warm or too cold for you to stand putting your hand in, and gradually adjust the temperature of the toy, to prevent 'shocking' the glass.

As far as anal use, personally, I did not choose to explore this avenue- the toy is not flared sufficiently, and so I would not personally take the risk. If you do choose to use this toy for anal, please do so with caution, and keep a firm grip on the toy at all times.

Cleaning this toy is a snap. You can use all the standards- soap and water, toy cleaner, toy wipes, you can also use a 10% bleach solution, or put it in the dishwasher- top rack, no soap. I found it a little tedious to clean in-between all of the bloops, but it wasn't too difficult and I still got it squeaky clean.

As far as lube compatibility- glass is compatible with any kind of lube you could find! And since its glass, I only needed a few drops of lube to make my experience beautifully slick. Storing this toy is also simple since there is a pouch included, and the pouch, when shut snugly, really keeps the toy secure. Its also the perfect size for the toy, and it doesn't take up too much room in my toy drawer.

All in all, this is definitely a toy you should consider adding to your collection. The Rose G-Spotter has been around for a while for one simple reason- it works, and it works well. It would be an excellent first toy, and an excellent first glass toy, since its very cute and very small, yet also very effective. It provides some variety for those who want to utilize all of the toy, and is easy to clean and store.

Finger vibrators.. A great concept, coupling manual stimulation with vibrations, but is it practical? Babeland offered me the chance to find out for myself- and I had to say yes, being a fan of both manual stimulation and vibrations.

The Nanovibe Fingervibe comes in an adorable little packet with some instructions on use and compatibility. The unit comes pre-loaded with batteries that are not replaceable, and it is a disposable unit that will last around an hour of continuous vibration.

Since it is made out of TPE, you can use silicone or water based lube with it, and clean it with soap and water or toy cleaner. To use the vibe, you take a little plastic tube (that helps the finger-holder keep its form) out of the toy and then put your finger through that little tube so that it fits snugly. Oh, and it is not waterproof. That's basically the info on the package.

The included bullet is single speed, with one button. One press of the button turns it on, and another turns it off- simple and easy. The speed is relatively high pitched, and not too strong, but comparable to a watch battery bullet. The batteries in the bullet aren't replaceable either- but if the included bullet runs out of juice, another small bullet will fit in the bullet cavity- snugly, and it will stick out a bit, but it will fit.

Using the included bullet, I slid the Nanovibe over my finger, put a drop of lube on it, and went to work. The TPE material is really soft and slick when it is lubed up, and although I normally like friction it was still able to get me off very easily. Personally, I fail a bit at manual clitoral stimulation- and well, I felt like the Nanovibe helped me a lot. I freeze up when I approach orgasm, and typically it comes to a halt since if I freeze up, the stimulation stops, but with the Nanovibe on, there was just enough continuing stimulation to push me over the edge. I think this would be insanely good if it were used with a partner, and it's very un-intimidating.

The finger sleeve is easy to clean, and stretchy enough that it would fit anyone's finger. Its snug, but its supposed to be, and though it feels awkward at first it's very easy to get used to it being there once you get into your chosen activity.

Although I would say the main use of the Nanovibe for me is clitoral stimulation, it can be used equally as well on other erogenous zones. It could be used on nipples, or for external foreplay in the vaginal region- since TPE cannot be sterilized, I recommend against using it around the anal area, but it could be used to add a little vibration to a blowjob or handjob too- and would be a very gentle way to introduce any toy-shy partner into using toys in the bedroom, since it still feels, and is, very personal.

Add to all this that the Nanovibe fingervibe is very quiet, and well.. you have yourself a fine toy. Although it is disposable, I think I'll be keeping a small stock- they are very affordable, at only $9 apiece, comparable to novelty vibrating condoms and quite a bit more fun than those in my opinion.

Icicles Mind Blow-Her Review

The Icicles series is something I'd never looked too hard at, mostly because of a fear of 'cheap' glass, but since having had more and more positive experiences overall with glass- including some affordable pieces- I was really happy when I heard AdultSexToys was going to allow me to review it. The Icicles Mind Blow-Her has a silly name, but it is all business once you have it in your hands. I was honestly shocked at how pretty it was- the picture shows you only one little hint of its beauty, but the real toy is iridescent all over, and it's truly a sight to behold.

The iridescent coating is all over the toy, and the blue swirl accents it perfectly. Honestly, this is one of the prettiest glass toys I own- maybe THE prettiest, and I have some things over twice the cost of this toy. I was also pleasantly surprised at its size. Most of the time, with glass toys, anything that's not too expensive is very small, thin, and not too satisfying to use. This toy is pretty substantial, at 6" usable length, and 1.3" in diameter- in any other toy, this might not seem like much, but since glass has no give whatsoever, the toy feels very, very substantial inside.

The ridges do not really add much girth, but they do add sensation, and so does the slight curve in the body of the toy- it's not extreme, but it really helps in targeting your g-spot.

One cool thing about glass is you can use any lube with it- ANY lube, though I use mostly water based, and so that's what I chose to use with this toy, it's nice to know I can use whatever catches my eye, without ever worrying about accidentally melting my toy.

In use, the toy was really, really amazing. Glass, being a rigid material, is already great for g-spot stimulation- but, coupled with the angle, and the ridges, which brush perfectly against my g-spot in use... I gushed with this toy. It is amazing, beautiful, and just perfect for me. The mostly smooth shaft makes it perfect for thrusting, while the curve and the ridges will intensely stimulate you inside- whether you're using it to target your g-spot or not. I would say that this is suited to people with deeper g-spots, but other than that, it should work for most.

Another plus is that this has an anal safe, and possibly harness compatible, base- and that makes it possible for anyone, of any gender and any orientation to enjoy this toy.

As far as cleaning, soap and water, toy cleaner, or toy wipes would all work perfectly fine for this toy- but if you are going to share it, consider running it through the dishwasher- top rack, no soap- or wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution, or just using a condom with it, to make your experience as safe as possible.

Overall I really, really like this toy. This is undoubtedly one of my favorite glass pieces that I own, if not my outright favorite, and it's so pretty that I almost want to leave it out- Sadly, it is phallic in shape and so I am sure it would be quickly realized for what it is. Glassgasm Twisted Rose Review

Thanks to GlassDildoz.com, I recently got the chance to review another stunning, affordable glass dildo from their selection. This time, the Twisted Rose was my treat and it is, honestly, BEAUTIFUL. This toy is a work of art. The color, which looks like a dusky rose in the picture, is a brighter rose color, with some flashes of gold. Each one of the swirls catches and refracts the light, making it truly a work of art.

The toy is about 1.5" in diameter, though this varies due to the gentle wave shape, and about 7.5" in length.You can use either end of this toy, though personally, I chose to use the more ball-shaped end as a handle, to keep ahold of the toy, and inserted the other end.

Though this toy is straight, the waves still assist it in hitting all the right places- I did not squirt with this toy, but it is intensely stimulating, especially if you twist it, or even if you just thrust it, due to the intense ribbing effect the swirls create. All this texture is also lovely to rub against your erogenous zones, and of course, you can use this toy for temperature play.

Typically, my toys are cool at room temperature, so I don't need to do any cooling down of the toys, but if you were going to adjust the temp of them, you should use water, warm or cool, that is not too intense for you to stick your hand into, and you should gradually adjust the temperature so as not to temperature 'shock' the glass. For example, start it out in room temp water, and gradually add more warm water, to make it warmer.

Glass holds its temperature for quite some time, however it will warm up after an extended play session, and it's really cool to feel it when it is warm.

As far as cleaning- this is a very ridged toy, so I really just recommend soap and water. I had to hand wash the toy after use, but if you want to try toy cleaner or a toy wipe you are welcome to. For me, the only way I could get into all the nooks and crannies was hand-washing it, though. This toy, like many glass toys, is also dishwasher safe- but you should only run it on the top rack, and be sure to run it without soap.You can also use a 10% bleach solution if you want to sterilize this to share between partners.

Storage-wise, this toy comes included with a big, very very plush, drawstring pouch- it takes up some space, but it'll definitely keep your toy safe between uses!

Overall, this toy is really nice, and very affordable. I still love it, even if it is a little difficult to clean, and I think that if you like ridges, and you like glass, you should definitely check it out- as well as the rest of Glassdildoz's selection! Thank you Glassdildoz!

Lelo Gigi Review

Ahh, the Gigi. I won the Lelo Gigi, a luxury vibrator, from Babeland a while ago and all this time I have been wondering what to say about it. My Gigi is actually the light pink color, which, curiously, Babeland does not even seem to carry on their site- it's a very soft and subdued pink color, and rather pleasing to the eye.

The toy comes packaged in a box within a box- all color coordinated, and certainly feels like a luxury experience. The silicone is smooth, the steel band is cold, and the control pad is easy to use.

The Gigi is rechargeable, making it a great choice for reducing battery consumption, and it's got a range of functions and intensities, with a medium-pitched and pretty intense vibration, not too strong but certainly not weak. Unfortunately, like the other Lelo vibes I have, the Mia and Nea, the Gigi just misses the mark.

Now, it doesn't miss entirely, per se, since it is adequate for clitoral stimulation- but since I have multiple other options for that, and since the Gigi is NOT as whisper quiet as many Lelo fans might declare, it is at a significant disadvantage. The Gigi is also supposed to be a g-spot vibrator, and this is where it entirely fails for me. The Gigi simply is not the right size. Now, this is strange for me, since I enjoyed the Lelo Ella which is a similar shape, and so I think perhaps the softer edges of the Gigi combined with the very, very short length just make it barely miss my g-spot. Since it's not very long, I can't just use it for standard thrusting either. So for me, as an insertable toy, the Gigi is a complete miss.

Now, clitorally, the vibrations match me much better and I quite enjoy them, combined with the hard, matte silicone surface of the Gigi. The problem here is that due to the angle of the Gigi and my body type, I always, always hit the buttons on accident and end up changing the speed when I don't mean to.

I really wanted to like the Gigi a lot. I thought maybe Lelo would finally earn a place near my bedside, but it just hasn't. The controls are lovely, it can be locked for travel, and its rechargeable with a medium level of noise thats easily covered by a fan, but...
It just doesn't do what it's supposed to, for me, and what it does do, I have things that do it better.

Lia Magic Wand Review

New from Cal Exotics this spring, the Lia arrived at my door in unassuming packaging. Clear, with the toy visible inside, it looks deceptively simple and unassuming, with a lightly bulged body and a slightly bulbous head.

As I took it out of the packaging and familiarized myself with it more, I thought it was a little thin for my tastes- its max girth is only about 1.25". With around 6" insertable length, the Lia is a very petite vibrator, and the pink color is bright and cute.

Lia takes two AA batteries, and is very quiet, with an average vibration intensity. It does not blow me out of the water, but I think that the high pitched vibrations are fine for vaginal use, and they aren't overwhelming if you are sensitive to vibrations, either. There are ten functions of vibration- three vibration intensities, and a range of pulsation and escalation modes.
The controls are really easy to use on this toy, there is one button you press to cycle through the functions, and one button to turn the toy on and off with one touch. This is nice in case you get interrupted or need to otherwise quickly turn the toy off. The buttons are labeled in a way that is easy to understand- the function button has a little zigzag/pulse pattern on it and the on/off button has an O/I symbol similar to that of your average computer power button.

Lia is fully waterproof, and works great in the shower or the tub- it also makes cleaning a breeze.
One of the things that surprised me most about Lia was the smooth, velvety texture of the pure silicone body of the toy. Its really soft and smooth, and the tip of the toy is quite flexible as well.

In use, I was really pleasantly surprised. Although the Lia is a pretty thin toy compared to my usual fare, and although it is flexible, its shape wonderfully caressed my g-spot, in a more gentle way than most g-spot toys. To be honest, the Lia is probably the closest replication of being fingered that I have experienced in a toy thus far- but it is even better than that because you control the intensity and you control when you stop.

The smooth texture of the Lia makes for a very filling feel, even though the toy itself isn't large, and very easy cleanup. You can use pretty much anything to clean the Lia- soap and water, toy cleaner, toy wipes, or even a 10% bleach solution if you want to sterilize the silicone part for sharing. The plastic bits can be wiped with alcohol instead of bleach for killing bacteria.

For storage, the box is a little large for my tastes- instead, I keep it in a plastic baggie, so that it doesn't touch other toys and then you can put it pretty much anywhere. The smooth surface doesn't pick up dust as easy as regular silicone, so it's pretty easy to keep clean between uses- just make sure it doesn't touch any other soft toys, to be on the safe side.

Overall, the Lia was a really nice experience, and one I'll be repeating often. Although I can't point you to any stores yet, the Lia Magic Wand should be more widely released in the course of a few weeks. It's well worth the purchase, and since it's silicone, it'll last a lifetime with proper care.

I tried to post on EF earlier today, It was deleted immediately, and was on the topic of Censorship. I said that censorship makes me not trust them, and was talking about how they deleted everything that did not agree with them.

Well, it was deleted, so immediately that nobody could see or post on it. I suspected they had put an auto delete on my account since it seemed too fast to be human response. I made a new account attempting to actually say my piece, since I assumed it was auto deleting everything I personally posted. I would like to make clear that at this time I have received no reasoning for the deletion of any of the posts I have made, even though 3, so far, have been deleted for no reason. The following is the content of the second thread I ATTEMPTED to make.

Anyone who doubts that I have received an email is more than welcome to, I'd provide screenshots of my email inbox but people would just accuse me of deleting it anyways so hey. Here's the post. I think it's pretty fair and calm and deserved to be said. EF didnt.

Edenfantasys’s unethical technology is a self-referential black hole

A few nights ago, I received an email from Editor of EdenFantasys’s SexIs Magazine, Judy Cole, asking me to modify this Kink On Tap brief I published that cites Lorna D. Keach’s writing. Judy asked me to “provide attribution and a link back to” SexIs Magazine. An ordinary enough request soon proved extraordinarily unethical when I discovered that EdenFantasys has invested a staggering amount of time and money to develop and implement a technology platform that actively denies others the courtesy of link reciprocity, a courtesy on which the ethical Internet is based.
While what they’re doing may not be illegal, EdenFantasys has proven itself to me to be an unethical and unworthy partner, in business or otherwise. Its actions are blatantly hypocritical, as I intend to show in detail in this post. Taking willful and self-serving advantage of those not technically savvy is a form of inexcusable oppression, and none of us should tolerate it from companies who purport to be well-intentioned resources for a community of sex-positive individuals.
For busy or non-technical readers, see the next section, Executive Summary, to quickly understand what EdenFantasys is doing, why it’s unethical, and how it affects you whether you’re a customer, a contributor, or a syndication partner. Internet sex toy retailer Web Merchants, Inc., which bills itself as the “sex shop you can trust” and does business under the name EdenFantasys, has implemented technology on their websites that actively interferes with contributors’ content, intercepts outgoing links, and alters republished content so that links in the original work are redirected to themselves. Using techniques widely acknowledged as unethical by Internet professionals and that are arguably in violation of major search engines’ policies, EdenFantasys’s publishing platform has effectively outsourced the task of “link farming” (a questionable Search Engine Marketing [SEM] technique) to sites with which they have “an ongoing relationship,” such as AlterNet.org, other large news hubs, and individual bloggers’ blogs.
Articles published on EdenFantasys websites, such as the “community” website SexIs Magazine, contain HTML crafted to look like links, but aren’t. When visited by a typical human user, a program written in JavaScript and included as part of the web pages is automatically downloaded and intercepts clicks on these “link-like” elements, fetching their intended destination from the server and redirecting users there. Due to the careful and deliberate implementation, the browser’s status bar is made to appear as though the link is legitimate, and that a destination is provided as expected.
For non-human visitors, including automated search engine indexing programs such as Googlebot, the “link” remains non-functional, making the article a search engine’s dead-end or “orphan” page whose only functional links are those whose destination is EdenFantasys’s own web presence. This makes EdenFantasys’ website(s) a self-referential black hole that provides no reciprocity for contributors who author content, nor for any website ostensibly “linked” to from article content. At the same time, EdenFantasys editors actively solicit inbound links from individuals and organizations through “link exchanges” and incentive programs such as “awards” and “free” sex toys, as well as syndicating SexIs Magazine content such that the content is programmatically altered in order to create multiple (real) inbound links to EdenFantasys’s websites after republication on their partner’s media channels.

How EdenFantasys’s unethical practices have an impact on you

Regardless of who you are, EdenFantasys’s unethical practices have a negative impact on you and, indeed, on the Internet as a whole.

See for yourself: First, log out of any and all EdenFantasys websites or, preferably, use a different browser, or even a proxy service such as the Tor network for greater anonymity. Due to EdenFantasys’s technology, you cannot trust that what you are seeing on your screen is what someone else will see on theirs. Next, temporarily disable JavaScript (read instructions for your browser) and then try clicking on the links in SexIs Magazine articles. If clicking the intended off-site “links” doesn’t work, you know that your article’s links are being hidden from Google and that your content is being used for shady practices. In contrast, with JavaScript still disabled, navigate to another website (such as this blog), try clicking on the links, and note that the links still work as intended. Here’s another verifiable example from the EdenFantasys site showing that many other parts of Web Merchants, Inc. pages, not merely SexIs Magazine, are affected as well: With JavaScript disabled, visit the EdenFantasys company page on Aslan Leather (note, for the sake of comparison, the link in this sentence will work, even with JavaScript off). Try clicking on the link in the “Contact Information” section in the lower-right hand column of the page (shown in the screenshot, below). This “link” should take you to the Aslan Leather homepage but in fact it does not. So much for that “link exchange.”

If you’re an EdenFantasys employee, people will demand answers from you regarding the unethical practices of your (hopefully former) employer. While you are working for EdenFantasys, you’re seriously soiling your reputation in the eyes of ethical Internet professionals. Ignorance is no excuse for the lack of ethics on the programmers’ part, and it’s a shoddy one for everyone else; you should be aware of your company’s business practices because you represent them and they, in turn, represent you.
If you’re a partner or contributor (reviewer, affiliate, blogger), while you’re providing EdenFantasys with inbound links or writing articles for them and thereby propping them up higher in search results, EdenFantasys is not returning the favor to you (when they are supposed to be doing so). Moreover, they’re attaching your handle, pseudonym, or real name directly to all of their link farming (i.e., spamming) efforts. They look like they’re linking to you and they look like their content is syndicated fairly, but they’re actually playing dirty. They’re going the extra mile to ensure search engines like Google do not recognize the links in articles you write. They’re trying remarkably hard to make certain that all roads lead to EdenFantasys, but none lead outside of it; no matter what the “link,” search engines see it as stemming from and leading to EdenFantasys. The technically savvy executives of Web Merchants, Inc. are using you without giving you a fair return on your efforts. Moreover, EdenFantasys is doing this in a way that preys upon people’s lack of technical knowledge—potentially your own as well as your readership’s. Do you want to keep doing business with people like that?
If you’re a customer, you’re monetarily supporting a company that essentially amounts to a glorified yet subtle spammer. If you hate spam, you should hate the unethical practices that lead to spam’s perpetual reappearance, including the practices of companies like Web Merchants, Inc. EdenFantasys’s unethical practices may not be illegal, but they are unabashedly a hair’s width away from it, just like many spammers’. If you want to keep companies honest and transparent, if you really want a “sex shop you can trust,” this is relevant to you because EdenFantasys is not it. If you want to purchase from a retailer that truly strives to offer a welcoming, trustworthy community for those interested in sex positivity and sexuality, pay close attention and take action. For ideas about what you can do, please see the “What you can do” section, below.
If you’ve never heard about EdenFantasys before, but you care about a fair and equal-opportunity Internet, this is relevant to you because what EdenFantasys is doing takes advantage of non-tech-savvy people in order to slant the odds of winning the search engine game in their favor. They could have done this fairly, and I personally believe that they would have succeeded. Their sites are user-friendly, well-designed, and solidly implemented. However, they chose to behave maliciously by not providing credit where credit is due, failing to follow through on agreements with their own community members and contributors, and sneakily utilizing other publishers’ web presences to play a very sad zero-sum game that they need not have entered in the first place. In the Internet I want, nobody takes malicious advantage of those less skilled than they are because their own skill should speak for itself. Isn’t that the Internet and, indeed, the future you want, too?

TECHNICAL DETAILS

What follows is a technical exploration of the way the EdenFantasys technology works. It is my best-effort evaluation of the process in as much detail as I can manage within strict self-imposed time constraints. If any of this information is incorrect, I’d welcome any and all clarifications provided by the EdenFantasys CTO and technical team in an appropriately transparent, public, and ethical manner. (You’re welcome—nay, encouraged—to leave a comment.)
Although I’m unconvinced that EdenFantasys understands this, it is the case that honesty is the best policy—especially on the Internet, where everyone has the power of “View source.”

The “EF Framework” for obfuscating links

Article content written by contributors on SexIs Magazine pages is published after all links are replaced with a element bearing the class of linklike and a unique id attribute value. This apparently happens across any and all content published by Web Merchants, Inc.’s content management system, but I’ll be focusing on Lorna D. Keach’s post entitled SexFeed:Anti-Porn Activists Now Targeting Female Porn Addicts for the sake of example.
These fake links look like this in HTML:

And according to Theresa Flynt, vice president of marketing for Hustler video, female consumers make up 56% of video sales.

This originally published HTML is what visitors without JavaScript enabled (and what search engine indexers) see when they access the page. Note that the is not a real link, even though it is made to look like one. (See Figure 1; click it to enlarge.)

In a typical user’s browser, when this page is loaded, a JavaScript program is executed that mutates these “linklike” elements into elements, retaining the “linklike” class and the unique id attribute values. However, no value is provided in the href (link destination) attribute of the element. See Figure 2.

The JavaScript program is downloaded in two parts from the endpoint at http://cdn3.edenfantasys.com/Scripts/Handler/jsget.ashx. The first part, retrieved in this example by accessing the URI at

, loads the popular jQuery JavaScript framework as well as custom code called the “EF Framework”.
The EF Framework contains code called the DBLinkHandler, an object that parses the “linklike” elements (called “pseudolinks” in the EF Framework code) and retrieves the real destination. The entirety of the DBLinkHandler object is shown in code listing 1, below. Note the code contains a function called handle that performs the mutation of the “linklike” elements (seen primarily on lines 8 through 16) and, based on the prefix of each elements’ id attribute value, two key functions (BuildUrlForElement and GetUrlByUrlID, whose signatures are on lines 48 and 68, respectively) interact to set up the browser navigation after responding to clicks on the fake links.

Once the mutation is performed and all the content “links” are in the state shown in Figure 2, above, an event listener has been bound to the anchors that captures a click event. This is done using prototypal extension, aka. classic prototypal inheritance, in another part of the code, the live function on line 2,280 of the (de-minimized) jsget.ashx program, as shown in code listing 2, here:

At this point, clicking on one of the “pseudolinks” triggers the EF Framework to call code set up by the GetUrlByUrlID function from within the DBLinkHandler object, initiating an XMLHttpRequest (XHR) connection to the AjaxLinkHandling.aspx server-side application. The request is an HTTP POST containing only one parameter, called urlid, and its value matches a substring from within the id value of the “pseudolinks.” In this example, the id attribute contains a value of EFLink_68034_fe64d2, which means that the unique ID POST’ed to the server is 68034. This is shown in Figure 3, below.

The response from the server, shown in Figure 4, is also simple. If successful, the intended destination is retrieved by the GetUrlByUrlID object’s success function (on line 79 of Code Listing 1, above) and the user is redirected to that web address, as if the link was a real one all along. The real destination, in this case to CNN.com, is thereby only revealed after the XHR request returns a successful reply.

All of this obfuscation effectively blinds machines such as the Googlebot who are not JavaScript-capable from seeing and following these links. It deliberately provides no increased Pagerank for the link destination (as a real link would normally do) despite being “linked to” from EdenFantasys’s SexIs Magazine article. While the intended destination in this example link was at CNN.com, it could just as easily have been—and is, in other examples—links to the blogs of EdenFantasys community members and, indeed, everyone else linked to from a SexIs Magazine article or potentially any website operated by Web Merchants, Inc. that makes use of this technology.

The EdenFantasys Outsourced Link-Farm

In addition to creating a self-referential black hole with no gracefully degrading outgoing links, EdenFantasys also actively performs link-stuffing through its syndicated content “relationships,” underhandedly creating an outsourced and distributed link-farm, just like a spammer. The difference is that this spammer (Web Merchants, Inc. aka EdenFantasys) is cleverly crowd-sourcing high-value, high-quality content from its own “community.”
Articles published at SexIs Magazine are syndicated in full to other large hub sites, such as AlterNet.org. Continuing with the above example post by Lorna D. Keach, Anti-Porn Activists Now Targeting Female Porn Addicts, we can see that this content was republished on AlterNet.org shortly after original publication through EdenFantasys’ website on May 3^rd at http://www.alternet.org/story/146774/christian_anti-porn_activists_now_targeting_female_. However, a closer look at the HTML code of the republication shows that each and every link contained within the article points to the same destination: the same article published on SexIs Magazine, as shown in Figure 5.

Naturally, these syndicated links provided to third-party sites by EdenFantasys are real and function as expected to both human visitors and to search engines indexing the content. The result is “natural,” high-value links to the EdenFantasys website from these third-party sites; EdenFantasys doesn’t merely scrounge pagerank from harvesting the sheer number of incoming links, but as each link’s anchor text is different, they are setting themselves up to match more keywords in search engine results, keywords that the original author likely did not intend to direct to them. Offering search engines the implication that EdenFantasys.com contains the content described in the anchor text, when in fact EdenFantasys merely acts as an intermediary to the information, is very shady, to say the least.
In addition to syndication, EdenFantasys employs human editors to do community outreach. These editors follow up with publishers, including individual bloggers (such as myself), and request that any references to published material provide attribution and a link back to us, to use the words of Judy Cole, Editor of SexIs Magazine in an email she sent to me (see below), and presumably many others. EdenFantasys has also been known to request “link exchanges,” and offer incentive programs that encouraged bloggers to add the EdenFantasys website to their blogroll or sidebar in order to help raise both parties search engine ranking, when in fact EdenFantasys is not actually providing reciprocity.

EDITORIAL

It is unsurprising that the distributed, subtle, and carefully crafted way EdenFantasys has managed to crowd-source links has (presumably) remained unpenalized by search engines like Google. It is similarly unsurprising that nontechnical users such as the contributors to SexIs Magazine would be unaware of these deceptive practices, or that they are complicit in promoting them.
This is no mistake on the part of EdenFantasys, nor is it a one-off occurrence. The amount of work necessary to implement the elaborate system I’ve described is also not even remotely feasible for a rogue programmer to accomplish, far less accomplish covertly. No, this is the result of a calculated and decidedly underhanded strategy that originated from the direction of top executives at Web Merchants, Inc. aka EdenFantasys.
It is unfortunate that technically privileged people would be so willing to take advantage of the technically uneducated, particularly under the guise of providing a trusted place for the community which they claim to serve. These practices are exactly the ones that “the sex shop you can trust” should in no way support, far less be actively engaged in. And yet, here is unmistakable evidence that EdenFantasys is doing literally everything it can not only to bolster its own web presence at the cost of others’, but to hide this fact from its understandably non-tech-savvy contributors.
On a personal note, I am angered that I would be contacted by the Editor of SexIs Magazine, and asked to properly “attribute” and provide a link to them when it is precisely that reciprocity which SexIs Magazine would clearly deny me (and everyone else) in return. It was this request originally received over email from Judy Cole, that sparked my investigation outlined above and enabled me to uncover this hypocrisy. At the time when I wrote the email replying to Judy, I was perturbed but could not put my finger on why. Her email upset me because she seemed to be suggesting that our briefs are wholesale “re-posts,” when in fact Emma and I have thoroughly discussed attribution policies and, as mentioned in my reply, settled on a number of practices including a length limit, automated back linking (yes, with real links, go see some Kink On Tap briefs for yourself), and clearly demarcating quotes from the source article in our editorializing to ensure we play fair. Clearly, my somewhat snarky reply betrays my annoyance.
In any event, this exchange prompted me to take a closer look at the Kink On Tap brief I wrote, at the original article, and at the cross-post on AlterNet.org. I never would have imagined that EdenFantasys’s technical subterfuge would be as pervasive as it has proven to be. It’s so deeply embedded in the EdenFantasys publishing platform that I’m willing to give Judy the benefit of the doubt regarding this hypocrisy because she doesn’t seem to understand the difference between a search query and a permalink (something any laymen blogger would grok). This is apparent from her reply to my response:

I will from this point forward endeavor never to publish links to any web property that I know to be owned by Web Merchants, Inc., including EdenFantasys.com. I will also do my best to avoid citing any and all SexIs Magazine articles from here on out, and I encourage everyone who has an interest in seeing honesty on the Internet to follow my lead here.
As some of my friends are currently contributors to SexIs Magazine, I would like all of you to know that I sincerely hope you immediately sever all ties with any and all Web Merchants, Inc. properties, suppliers, and business partners, especially because you are friends and I think your work is too important to be sullied by such a disreputable company. I understand that the economy is rough and that some of you may have business contracts bearing legal penalties for breaking them, but I urge you to nevertheless consider looking at this as a cost-benefit analysis: the sooner you break up with EdenFantasys, the happier everyone on the Internet, including you, will be (and besides, you can loose just as much of your reputation, money, and pagerank while being happy as you can being sad).

What you can do

If you are an EdenFantasys reviewer, a SexIs Magazine contributor, or have any other arrangement with Web Merchants, Inc., write to Judy Cole and demand that content you produce for SexIs Magazine adheres to ethical Internet publication standards. Sever business ties with this company immediately upon receipt of any non-response, or any response that does not adequately address every concern raised in this blog post. (Feel free to leave comments on this post with technical questions, and I’ll do my best to help you sort out any l33t answers.)
EdenFantasys wants to stack the deck in Google. They do this by misusing your content and harvesting your links. To combat this effort, immediately remove any and all links to EdenFantasys websites and web presences from your websites. Furthermore, do not—I repeat—do not publish new links to EdenFantasys websites, not even in direct reference to this post. Instead, provide enough information, as I have done, so visitors to your blog posts can find their website themselves. In lieu of links to EdenFantasys, link to other bloggers’ posts about this issue. (Such posts will probably be mentioned in the comments section of this post.)
Boycott EdenFantasys: the technical prowess their website displays does provide a useful shopping experience for some people. However, that in no way obligates you to purchase from their website. If you enjoy using their interface, use it to get information about products you’re interested in, but then go buy those products elsewhere, perhaps from the manufacturers directly.

Watch for “improved” technical subterfuge from Web Merchants, Inc. As a professional web developer, I can identify several things EdenFantasys could do to make their unethical practices even harder to spot, and harder to stop. If you have any technical knowledge at all, even if you’re “just” a savvy blogger, you can keep a close watch on EdenFantasys and, if you notice anything that doesn’t sit well with you, speak up about it like I did. Get a professional programmer to look into things for you if you need help; yes, you can make a difference just by remaining vigilant as long as you share what you know and act honestly, and transparently.

One of my absolutely favorite toys EVER is the Original Onye from BigTeaseToys- when I saw that the Onye was being offered again, and in such sexy colors, I had to take PinkCherry.com up on the offer! The Onye Fleur came in some amazing packaging, which isn't really usable for storage, but is very luxurious and definitely giftable. The box has a frosted look, and a back panel image of flowers, and a good amount of info on the toy all around the box.

The Onye Fleur is so named because of the lovely detailing on the grip part you see on the upper part of the vibrator. The detailing really is amazing, and the overall look of the toy- metallic red, with silver highlights, is just beautiful. It's controlled by a single button at the top and has three speeds, no patterns. It is every bit as strong as the original Onye- which means it is quite strong, and the vibes are a lovely medium pitch, a bit higher than the original, but the strength makes up for it.

Since there is only one button, turning it off means you must cycle through all the speeds. It's a bit louder than the original, so this can be a problem... but holding the button down also stops the vibes, so assuming you have fingers of steel, that could work just as well in a pinch.
This is much more waterproof than the original Onye. It has both an o-ring, and very tight threading that makes it very splashproof, but I wouldn't submerge it for very long periods of time. Showers, brief baths, or cleaning under the tap should be fine as long as you make sure the battery compartment is closed tightly.

It takes three AAA batteries, which are easy to insert. The directions you have to insert them in are marked inside the part of the toy that they go into, so you might have to angle it a bit to get the light in there, but it's pretty easy to see.

In use, the Onye Fleur, although a bit louder, is every bit as marvelous as the Onye. It's truly an affordable luxury. The Fleur works best clitorally, is lovely to grind against, and is also nice for shallow penetration. The rubber gripper on the upper section of the toy makes it easy to keep hold of the toy even if you get it covered in lube, but it can also be a bit hard to clean due to the detail in it. I recommend rinsing it under the tap to make sure it's clean. Of course, you can use soap and water, toy cleaner, or toy wipes as well- any method you prefer.

For lubes, you can use either silicone or water based- but you should avoid oil based lubes because of the rubber material used for the decorated gripper and the button on top of the toy. This is another improvement from the original Onye, which was not compatible with silicone lubricants.

Although this toy is loud, it can still be covered up by the noise of a tv or fan, and a door makes the noise almost silent. The three speeds range from a medium-low all the way to pretty intense. It's a quality product that'll last you for a while, and that's presented in an outstanding format. I really recommend getting an Onye Fleur if you like clitoral stimulation or traditional bullet vibrators at all- it takes the concept of a bullet to the next level. Even though I already had an original Onye, the Fleur was awesome enough to be a worthy addition to my collection- it actually seems a bit stronger than the original, in direct comparison!

Vixen Creations- If you're into body-safe sex toys at all, you've probably heard of this company. They make some of the most realistic silicone toys around! When PinkCherry.com offered me the opportunity to review the absolutely adorable looking Mistress Vibe set I had to take them up on it.

I'm really glad I did. Like most Vixen Creations products, it comes in a clear tube with product and company info on it. The tubes are awesome looking, and suitable for storage if you've got the space- but unfortunately, I don't, so I keep mine in a plastic ziploc bag. Inside the tube was the cute, but slightly darker than the pic, Mistress dildo with a small watch battery bullet next to it. This bullet has a little string attached, with a cool, slightly-translucent bead at the end. It's a one speed bullet and moderately strong, nothing out of the ordinary, and it comes with batteries included.

My first experience with the Mistress wasn't sexual at all- I slapped her to my forehead on webcam and proclaimed myself to be the dildo unicorn. I was hugely amused, being a Tantus loyal, at just how soft, squishy, and floppy the Mistress was. It's hard enough for thrusting, but still soft enough that it's a great toy for partner use, maybe even pegging- though the softness would make it a bit tough to get inserted.

The Mistress has a slight g-spot curve, which I found lovely once I finally did get a bed-test. At 6" insertable, and 1 1/4" at the thickest point, this toy is by no means threatening or intimidating to anyone. I'm not one for huge girth, so for me this was satisfying- but size queens will most likely want to avoid this toy.
This toy has no texture whatsoever, and is the very definition of a beginner's toy.

In-use, this toy's strength is thrusting, or holding inside while using the bullet vibe, or a stronger vibe clitorally. Thrusting is my personal favorite use for this- and it's nice that it's soft enough not to bruise me if either myself or a partner gets a bit overzealous. Since it's squishy, pushing it inside when you 'hit bottom' results in a pleasantly full, stretching sort of feeling, even though the toy is not very thick. If you choose to use the bullet with the toy, make sure to put some lube on the end of the bullet you're inserting- this will seem weird, but it will really help get the bullet out later. To get the bullet out, you can either pull, or squeeze at the base of the dildo and kinda bend it, to make the bullet just pop right out. There is a bit of a popping noise when the suction breaks, so be ready for it.

Although I did not choose to use it anally, it is anal-safe due to the flare at the base, and you can boil it, wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution, or put it in the dishwasher, top rack, with no soap to make sure it's adequately disinfected if you're sharing it between orifices or partners. For solo use in just one orifice, cleaning with toy cleaner, soap and water, or toy wipes is just fine. If you're going to share it with a partner or between orifices and you haven't got the means to boil it afterwards, make sure that you use a condom over it.

The Mistress is made out of silicone, which means you should stick to water based lube for this one- silicone lube can damage silicone toys, so make sure to take a peek at your lube bottle before using it with this toy.

All in all the Mistress is a good standby to have in your toybox if you're a beginner. It comes in presentable and giftable packaging, its body-safe and easy to use, and its not threatening for either vaginal or anal use. The price is also very approachable, since silicone will last you a lifetime with proper care. More experienced toy users may want to skip over this one unless they're looking for a nice, soft anal toy that has a somewhat realistic shape.

SmartBalls Teneo Duo/Babeland Smartballs

Kegel balls and kegel exercises seem to be all the rage as of late, and I've only really tried a cheap set of kegel balls before, so I was excited and jumped at the chance to review the Smartballs Teneo Duo, also called the Babeland Silicone Smartballs when Babeland offered them.

They're made of silicone, the balls are about 1.5" around each one and including the string the set is about 7" long.
They come in the standard Fun Factory packaging, with a sample of Toyfluid, Fun Factory's water based lubricant. The packaging is sturdy, but I personally think it's easier to keep them out of it rather than pack them in every single time.

Of course, since this is silicone, you should only use water based lube with it. It can be cleaned in a variety of ways, including soap and water, toy cleaner, toy wipes, wiped down with a 10% bleach solution, boiled, or put in the top rack of a dishwasher with no soap. Cleaning them by hand can be a little tricky, since there are a lot of grooves and edges on the balls themselves and if you choose to do it by hand then you should make sure to get into all the nooks and crannies.

As far as use, my first few outings while wearing the Smartballs were not all that thrilling. It was alright, and when I squeezed them I felt it, but it didn't provide enough extra stimulation to keep me aroused all day or anything. They are also a bit hard to insert at first- I know there's enough room inside, but they seemed to just not want to go. I found that if I made myself aroused first, maybe used another toy in prep, that it made insertion a lot easier and they went a bit deeper. Still though, walking around with them in provided not much but an accent to my day. They have little balls inside of them so that when you move the balls bounce, producing little vibrations- my issue with this was that unless you're on a very bumpy road and have poor shocks on your car, or unless you're jogging up and down stairs, you don't really feel them at all- they don't seem very bouncy.
Where these excel is using them in combination with another toy. Say, the Eroscillator, Mystic Wand, or your clitoral vibe of choice. Since the balls are matte in texture, they are difficult to push out, and using a clitoral vibe with them gives you something to squeeze and push against. This provides an excellent sensation of fullness, and really amplifies my orgasms with any clitoral toy. You can also pull lightly on the balls while you hold them in, or try putting a vibrator against them for other methods of masturbating using the Smartballs.

Removal is a bit of a chore. You may need to apply more lube just to get them out, since I find that the string is so stretchy that you have to really, really pull to pop them out. As well, when I got mine out, they were incredibly messy. This seems to be a common issue, and some community brainstorming has come to the following conclusion- the matte texture of the silicone, combined with the fact that the balls are big enough to stop or impede the natural 'flow' of your vaginal fluids, causes them to thicken around the toy. So, when mine came out- with a loud-ish and slightly rough "SCCHHHHHLICKPOP!"- they were covered. It was gross, and it created kinda a suction-like sensation. I have no doubts that the suction did in fact pull about 90% of, well, everything, fluidwise, out of my vagina. This was after wearing them for 2-3 hours, so if you wear them for less time, or if you can handle a larger average diameter than me and thus don't get the suction effect, it might be fine for you.

All in all, I like the Smartballs Teneo Duo, but not as kegel balls. I like them more as an assistant for clitoral stimulation, since wearing them out is messy and not very fruitful. I'll continue my search for a sexier, and more effective set of kegel balls in the meantime.
The Teneo Duo is great as a masturbation aide, but even after a couple weeks of use, I really didn't feel much of a difference in my vaginal strength- I do kegels regularly, so it's possible there's just not much room for improvement.

The Babeland Buster

The Babeland Buster- courtesy, obviously, of Babeland, this is quite an impressive toy, looking only at the measurements. Boasting a head diameter of 1.5", and with the shaft smoothly increasing to 1.75", it seems a little intimidating, so I was almost relieved that it is just over 5" in usable length.

...At least, until I used it.
This toy had so, so much potential! And maybe it would be satisfactory for people who like shallower penetration, but for me it took me almost- almost- ALMOST to the edge and never pushed me over it. It's a bit too short for easy strap on use, too, which makes me doubt it would be satisfying even if it had the force of a beautiful set of hips behind it. Though I have reached orgasm with shorter toys, one of the issues with this toy is that the base, although lovely for other reasons, makes it harder to angle up to hit your g spot. I need that kind of stimulation to get off easily, and it just could not provide it.

Coming in a cleanly presented, snap-together clamshell pack, it's presented in a stylish manner with relatively little waste. Unfortunately, the clamshell is too big to store it in, so I use a ziploc bag to keep it clean between uses. It's also not really suitable for gifting- there's no nudity, but it just seems gaudy, like you just stopped at the local sex shop and snagged the first brightly colored schlong you saw and wrapped it up. If you're going to gift it, I'd definitely do so at a more private setting.

It's made of silicone, nice, matte, velvety and very firm silicone, but the curve just isn't enough. It does transmit vibrations amazingly, though, so if you can stand it being straight and smooth, it's certainly worth a look.
Silicone is nonporous, can be boiled, bleached with a 10% solution, or ran through the dishwasher with no soap to sterilize for sharing, or just for a thorough cleaning. All the standard cleaning procedures such as soap and water, toy cleaner, or toy wipes work as well.

It's compatible only with water based lube, but doesn't need much because it's very smooth.

I can't really say I was too impressed with this toy. It was just a pinch too short for me. Using it is enjoyable, but I always have to switch to something else to climax. Besides being harness compatible, though, one of the best features of this toy is the suction cup base. It's amazing, and will stick to any smooth or glossy surface very, very well. I found using it in this way a little tough since I am not used to positioning myself with a suction cup toy, but if you can get the angle right it does allow for nice, though a bit shallower, g-spot targeted penetration.

This toy can be used anally as well as vaginally, since you can sterilize it, and it's very smooth so if you can take the girth you should find it to be an easy ride. The issue is, of course, it's not meant as a plug so you couldn't wear it around or anything. It's short length and strap on compatibility also means that it may be good for pegging, if your partner likes more girth than length. Smooth toys tend to be less irritating to people who're new to anal, and it makes insertion a breeze.

Overall, this toy was alright, but it's not my favorite, the best use I found for it was with a Hitachi or similar type vibrator pressed against the base, giving me strong and constant, broad area vibrations that stimulated and sensitized most of my inner bits. However, for thrusting, it falls a bit too short for me and I find myself reaching for a longer toy.
If you're interested in this toy for strap on use, shallower penetration, or pegging then make sure to go check out the Buster at Babeland! It is excellent quality, and should last a lifetime, so it's worth checking out if you fit any of the above mentioned criteria, or even if you're just curious!

I'm gonna be honest with everyone, I messed up on this vibrator's name for the longest time. I thought it was called Viola for some reason- It's not, it's Voila! Like presenting a miraculous discovery to someone, and gladly.. this vibrator is deserving of the name.

With sleek, reserved styling on the packaging and a cool little box, I thought the Voila was going to be just another 'meh' vibrator. It reminded me of a Lelo clitoral vibrator that I quite disliked, but as soon as I picked it up I knew my first impressions were wrong. It has a nice heft to it, and a very velvety texture to the surface. It felt cool, but warmed quickly to the touch. There are two buttons on the Voila, one is the function button which, when pressed, turns the unit on at its lowest speed. If you press again, it goes to a medium speed, and again, high speed- Subsequent presses reveal a nice pulsation and escalation pattern, then it cycles back to the lowest constant speed. The other button serves only one purpose, but it's a good one- turning it off at a moment's notice.

The vibrations are a medium-high pitch, but VERY strong, excellent for foreplay or taking you all the way and the toy is pleasantly palm-sized, perfect for use during sex. On the bottom of the toy, it's smoothly contoured so it's comfortable against the labia and vulva, and there is a raised 'pleasure nub' where the vibrations are pinpointed.

This toy works wonderfully for me. The vibrations are high pitched, but so strong that they still get me off easily, and they don't leave me numb at all- just a bit more sensitive. Quiet enough not to be heard through a door, or over the noise of a shower or any form of soft 'white noise', its very discreet as well. It's best used clitorally, or on any other erogenous areas, but it's not meant for insertion. You could possibly put it on the base of an insertable, non vibrating toy if you wanted to add vibrations to it, but it is a little big for that.

The whole body of this toy is smooth and contoured, making it able to be used for massage as well. Possibly best of all, it's rechargeable! It takes about three hours to charge using an adapter that it comes with, and the charge lasts about three and a half hours. It is also stated as waterproof, but due to how easy the soft cover that blocks the charging port is to open and close, I think it's more like splashproof. I used it successfully in the shower, but I don't recommend submerging it. It may just be my model, so if yours has a more snug fit then give it a shot. Running it under water briefly for cleaning should be fine as well.

Speaking of cleaning, soap and water, toy cleaner, and toy wipes are all suitable methods. The Voila is made out of plastic, but it does have rubber pieces on it- making it compatible with water and silicone based lubes.

All in all, the Voila is a very nice accompaniment to penetration of any type, but it can stand proudly as the main course, as well. It's one of Cal Exotics' newest releases, and isn't available in many online stores yet, but it should be making it's debut soon enough!
